Saif Ali and Vidya Balan to Sizzle Audience Once More!.

Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan are set to dazzle the audience all over again. The couple has been signed by Balaji Motion Pictures for ‘Dream Sequence’ to be directed by ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. Though Saif has been a part of the project since its very inception, Vidya has been brought in after Deepika stepped back.

Confirming the news a source from Balaji said, “Initially, Deepika Padukone was to do the role. The casting of the duo together after ‘Love Aaj Kal’ had its appeal. But the actress begged off when she heard that the chote nawab was having second thoughts and that Abhay Deol would fill in for him.”

However Saif decided to stay with the project after a long discussion with Bhardwaj. But now with Deepika gone, there was an urgent need for a leading lady. And since Vidya was a part of Bhardwaj-produced ‘Ishqiya’, the director approached the lass.

As of now the actress and the director are keen to work together in this film and are currently working on the dates. “Balan is already doing ‘Dirty Picture’ with Balaji and ‘Dream Sequence’ will be her second film with the company,” the source added.

Imran’s-Avantika Malik Wedding on Jan 8th

The ceremony will take place in Karjat on January 8. All the informal invites have already been sent out. To coincide with the Diwali festivities on the weekend, informal invitations were extended for Imran’s wedding with Avantika Malik. The actor will tie the knot on January 8 with his fiance at their Karjat farmhouse.

A close source to the actor revealed, “Though it is exactly two months away, the preparations are in full swing. Those on the guest list were sent SMSes or told on the phone to keep themselves free on January 8 from 5 pm to 5 am. The message stated that a formal invite of the wedding card would follow later.”

The source added, “As it was Diwali, it was considered an auspicious occasion to start with the invitations.” The Malik’s are telling everyone to keep themselves free on the wedding day. They are going to have dusk till dawn bash for their wedding.

The nephew of Aamir Khan had his engagement party with a brunch, followed by the ceremony and dinner in the evening. For this occasion he gifted Avantika a Volkswagen Beetle. The engagement invite was in the shape of a metal box, which had a bottle full of sand. The invite was rolled inside the bottle.

Imraan has always been very open about his relationship with Avantika. They were amongst the few people who were invited for the opening of Arjun Rampal’s nightclub in Delhi and a toast was raised for them.
